Practice Areas - Mr. Rosenthal is a litigation associate handling matters in State and Federal Court. Mr. Rosenthal specializes in handling complex commercial litigation, including insurance coverage disputes, intellectual property issues, securities litigation, government investigations, products liability, employment litigation and general negligence matters.
Bar Admissions - Mr. Rosenthal is a member of the New York and California State Bars as well as U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Western District of Michigan.
Biography - Mr. Rosenthal was born in Berkeley, California. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in May of 1987 with a degree in Economics. Upon graduation from U.C. Berkeley, Mr. Rosenthal was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and served in various aviation and communication related positions in the United States and abroad during his eight years as a Marine. After working in the aviation defense industry, Mr. Rosenthal attended the University of Notre Dame Law School and graduated cum laude in May 1999. While at Notre Dame Law School, Mr. Rosenthal served as the Federal Practice & Procedure Editor for the Notre Dame Law Review. Prior to practicing law in New York State, Mr. Rosenthal served as a law clerk for Chief Judges R.H. Bell and R.A. Enslen in the United States District Court, Western District of Michigan. Mr. Rosenthal was previously associated with the Manhattan firms of Sidley, Austin, Brown & Wood LLP, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where he was engaged in both complex general liability and commercial litigation representing major financial institutions and fortune 500 companies. Mr. Rosenthal joined Harrington, Ocko & Monk, LLP in June 2005.
